Meet Dana Paul, MPH, RDN
Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor
Certified Diabetes Care & Education Specialist
What I believe:
-
I acknowledge and respect the diversity of body sizes that exist and believe that all bodies are deserving of care just as they are.
-
Weight loss while possible in the short term is rarely sustainable beyond 2-5 years.
-
Attempts at weight loss can be harmful to both physical and psychological health.
-
While body size and perfect health are not completely within your control you do have power to improve your health and well being through the following health promoting behaviors:
-
Finding a peaceful and enjoyable relationship with food
-
Treating your body with care and respect
-
Getting adequate, restful sleep
-
Moving your body to support fitness, mobility, and psychological health
-
Eating nutritious foods that provide energy and make you feel good
-
Responding to stress and difficult emotions in a supportive way
-
-
Everyone has access to an inner wisdom that can guide them in improving their health and living a life of greater meaning.
